What Is Evolutionary Astrology?
Evolutionary astrology is a branch of astrology founded by Jeffrey Wolf Green. It reads your birth chart — the map of the sky at the moment you were born — as a portrait of your soul’s evolution.
In this view, your chart shows:
- Your soul’s purpose. What you came here to learn, develop, and express in this lifetime.
- Your karmic patterns. Habits, fears, and strengths carried from the past — in this life and, in this tradition, from past lives — that still shape your choices today.
- Your emotional dynamics. How you love, attach, protect yourself, and react when you feel threatened or unseen.

How Does an Evolutionary Astrology Reading Work?
A reading is a conversation, not a lecture and not a prediction. We meet online via Zoom, for 60 minutes, in English or Mandarin.
- We start with your birth data. Your date, exact time, and place of birth. No preparation is needed from you.
- I read your chart as a soul story. Past patterns, current transits, and the next step — woven together, not recited placement by placement.
- You bring a question. One thing you are stuck on, or curious about. We explore it through the chart, together.
- You leave with clarity. Not more confusion, and not a fate you must accept — but an understanding of your patterns, and a choice about what to do next.
After the session, you receive a recording, so you can return to the guidance as your life unfolds. Many clients tell me the reading keeps revealing deeper meaning months later.
What Evolutionary Astrology Is Not
- Not fortune-telling. Your chart does not dictate your fate. It is a tool for self-awareness, for recognizing your limitations as well as your inner potentials, and for empowering your free will.
- Not a horoscope. A sun-sign horoscope describes a general theme for millions of people. A reading is about your chart alone — your planets, your houses, your nodes, your Pluto.
- Not therapy. A reading can bring deep insight and emotional release, but it is spiritual guidance, not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care.

No. You do not need to know anything about astrology. I translate the chart into plain language, so you can follow it without learning the symbols first.
What do I need for a reading?
Your birth date, exact birth time, and birthplace. The exact time matters — it is on your birth certificate. If you do not know it, tell me, and we can talk about what is still possible to read.
Will you tell me what will happen in my future?
No. Evolutionary astrology does not predict a fixed future. It shows the patterns and timing at work in your life, so you can meet them with awareness and make conscious choices.
Is a reading online as effective as in person?
Yes. All readings are held online via Zoom, worldwide, in English or Mandarin. The chart, the conversation, and the guidance are the same, wherever you are.
