At the Scorpio full moon on May 1st, Pluto in Aquarius squares Sun and Moon, highlighting a pressure point: how the collective undercurrent shakes our personal emotions, and how transformation comes through dealing with personal karmic patterns on the emotional level.
The Scorpio Moon also sits as the apex of a Yod formed with Saturn in Aries and Venus in Gemini — again, heavy crises relating to limitation, communication, and relationships. You probably feel that you've had enough, enough of healing, awareness, and dealing with repeating patterns. Any crisis happening during this time, though, would be a precious opportunity for you to make transformative shifts.
The Pluto/Scorpio archetype intensifies these feelings of entrapment. On the energy level, the root of entrapment is that unintegrated traumatic experience leaves the nervous system unable to complete its response — showing up as pictures from past experiences still stuck in our personal aura, preventing us from fully integrating the experiences as is.
Scorpio Full Moon Meditation: Clearing Energetic Pictures
Reflecting on a difficult experience from the past, I am going to use a very Scorpio example to illustrate. Say you were betrayed by someone, you felt deeply hurt, instead of letting all conflicted and complicated emotions run their course, anger, hurt, sadness, shame, confusion, at the same time you may also feel compassion, and fear of losing a very significant relationship… because the pain was so overwhelming, you wanted to "solve" it and "move on". Say you really want to save the relationship, so your mind picks emotions that only align and support this decision, compassion, understanding, fear of losing someone. In these intense moments, usually your parents' energy, energy and thoughtforms from mainstream rules also jump in your space, forming a picture that drives your responses and reactions. Let's say this picture tells you, if you lose this person, you will not find anything better, you will be lonely and your life is only gonna be worse (than possibly being betrayed and hurt again). Now, create a rose for this picture, imagine the rose can simply pull the picture out of your space, observe it out and in front of your space, pull your energy back from the picture, visualize your energy flow back through your crown chakra, be patient, simply sit with it until you feel a shift, with a difficult picture it might take a few times, or months to clear.
When you practice this, usually you will feel an inner shift, how you view the past event starts to change. Sometimes, you literally see the picture as snapshot or motion pictures, by pulling your energy back, the picture eventually dissolves, and the energy being freed can integrate into present moment for you to use, you have more space to engage with conflicted and complicated emotions related to the event, and it's a natural realization, it's not so much about making the correct decision (to escape pain), when you engage with emotions as is, the decisions you are making are more authentic, driven more by your own energy.
Scorpio is the deepest emotions you can feel in human incarnation, thus it brings deepest pain, also a portal for the most powerful transformation. The archetype also correlates to Karma, to engage in emotional energy, you change beliefs, and changing beliefs is shifting karma. The universe never uses punishing energy when we create karma, we recreate karmic experiences, the pressure pushes us to deal with it, eventually we learn from past experiences, then move on to next lessons. It's our soul's desire to learn, expand and evolve.
If this intense Scorpio full moon brings up a difficult experience, I hope this meditation/ritual assists you, usually a few days after the full moon energy peaks, you will start to feel a sense of release, and the new deep awareness is real, and birthing authentic shifts into the future.
Note: A "picture" is essentially a frozen energetic recording held within your aura or subconscious mind — the blueprints we use to construct our personal reality. If you have a "picture" that says "I am not safe," you will subconsciously look for evidence of danger in your environment. You visualize this reaction as a literal "picture" or slide sitting in your space. The result: by clearing the "picture," you stop the automatic "rerun" of that old emotional response, allowing for a fresh perspective on the situation. — quoted from Psychic Psychology
